Trading conditions

The following terms apply to all purchases made at Bottles With History ApS.

By completing a purchase, you accept these terms and conditions. Bottles With History ApS reserves the right to change the conditions. Applicable conditions are those that appear at the time of purchase.

Prices and payment

All prices include VAT.

The applicable price is the one that appears at the time of ordering. We reserve the right to cancel orders in the event of obvious pricing errors.

The amount is only deducted when the item is dispatched.

The risk for the goods passes to the customer when the goods are delivered to the customer or a third party specified by the customer.

Right of withdrawal

You have a 60-day right of cancellation when you buy goods from us.

Return and refund

At Bottles With History, we offer a 60-day right of return from the day you receive the item.

You must notify us within 60 days of receipt that you wish to return the item. The item must then be returned without undue delay.

The item must be unopened and returned in the same condition as when received.

The statutory right of withdrawal according to the Consumer Contracts Act (14 days) is contained in the above 60 day right of return.

Repayment

In the event of a correct and timely return, the amount will be refunded to the same means of payment that was used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

Refunds are made no later than 14 days after we have received the item or documentation that it has been dispatched.

The customer bears the costs of return
The item must be packed properly
The customer bears the risk of the goods until we receive them
It is recommended to save the receipt and track & trace number

You are only liable for any reduction in value due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature and characteristics of the goods.

If you have received a free gift conditional on the purchase, this must be returned together with the item.

Right of complaint

According to the Swedish Purchase Act, you have 24 months' right to complain.

The right to complain includes defects that were present at the time of delivery.

Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect. Complaints within 2 months are always considered timely.

In the event of a justified complaint, we can offer redelivery, remedy, proportionate refusal or refund.

The right to complain does not include damage or deterioration as a result of:

Improper storage
Temperature influence after delivery
Natural development or maturation of the wine
Customer's own handling

Older wines are a natural product, and variation in color, sediment, label and development over time is not in itself considered a defect.

Transport damage

Transport damage must be reported as soon as possible and documented with pictures.

In the event of a justified complaint, we cover reasonable return shipping costs.

Product liability

Bottles With History ApS is responsible for product liability in accordance with the legislation in force at all times.

Liability cannot be limited to the extent that it follows from mandatory legislation.

Limitation of liability

Bottles With History ApS is not responsible for indirect losses or consequential damages, unless otherwise follows from mandatory legislation.

The limitation of liability does not apply in the event of gross negligence or intent.

Personal data policy

To shop with us, we need your name, address, e-mail, telephone number and payment information. The processing takes place in accordance with our personal data policy.
