Poverty Bay House of Nobilo fra årgang 1996 er en hvidvin fremstillet af den newzealandske producent House of Nobilo, som bygger på en 300 år gammel vinfremstillingsarv. Gisborne
Gisborne lies on the eastern tip of New Zealand's North Island and is one of the country's oldest wine regions, with roots reaching back to the 1850s. The area covers around 1,200 hectares of planted vineyard on a fertile alluvial plain surrounded by mountains to the west and the Pacific Ocean to the east.
The climate is warm and humid with many hours of sunshine and significant rainfall, moderated by early harvest seasons. The soils range from alluvial silt and clay on the plain to limestone and sandstone in the higher zones. Chardonnay is the region's flagship grape and covers around half of the plantings, complemented by aromatic varieties such as Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Viognier and Chenin Blanc, plus smaller amounts of Merlot and Pinot Noir. The style of Chardonnay is typically full-bodied and fruit-driven with tropical fruit, peach, citrus, hazelnut and soft oak, while Gewürztraminer shows lychee, rose, ginger and spices. The area is known as New Zealand's Chardonnay capital and home to the country's most aromatic white wines.

Storage
Store the bottle horizontally at 12–14°C and avoid direct sunlight, vibrations, and temperature fluctuations.
Opening
Allow the bottle to stand upright for 24–48 hours before opening to allow sediment to settle. Use a professional corkscrew and open carefully.
Enjoyment
Serve at 17–18°C and be patient – there is a great difference in how and how quickly wines open up when they are aerated.
